A SUSTAINABLE, SANTUARY FOR THOSE SEEKING A LITTLE ELBOW ROOM
Sealed Bid Auction
November 14, 2018

The beauty of the land will draw you here. The San Rafael Valley, its serenity, cool temperatures will cause you to fall in love.
As you enter the San Rafael Valley, your breath is immediately taken away by the gorgeous scenery spread out before you – sweeping untouched vistas and a sea of softly rolling grass surrounded by lavender and blue mountain ranges, meandering river beds and towering cottonwoods. It’s hard to believe this is really Arizona. Resting at an elevation of 4,800 to 6,000 feet, the valley is one of the last short-grass prairies in the Western United States and the headwaters of the Santa Cruz River. Cattle have been part of the San Rafael for nearly 500 years, from the long horns of the Spaniards first brought in 1539 to the Black Angus today. It is cattle, cowboys and ranching families that have kept this pristine valley preserved for centuries. This is the real thing – a rare piece of American heritage, an economically viable and sustainable environment that provides a vibrant eco-system for a myriad of species.
Ranches in this valley are usually passed from one generation to the next. This auction is a rare opportunity, maybe a real once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire your piece of the San Rafael Valley.
