Hacienda Las Colinas is a small, private ranch nestled in the lush, green, mountains of Chires, Parrita, Costa Rica. We are located on the west coast, 2 hours south of the capital, San Jose, or 45 minutes south of Jaco, 25 minutes north of Parrita on the road to Puriscal. We are exactly 30 minutes from the beach.

The Main House
The house is 2 story, 2 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, outdoor living area, indoor living area, wrap around porches upstairs and downstairs and office which can be used as a 3rd bedroom.
Concrete columns. The entrance to the farm has an electric gate. The whole farm is fully secure. There is public water and a water system that we built to utilize water from the river. The house comes fully furnished with everything you need, just bring your clothes.
The Cowboy House
Single story 2 bedroom, 1 small bathroom, Living area and kitchen, tile floor, wrap around porch, carport, fenced in yard, several fruit trees in the yard.
The furniture in the Cowboy’s house is not included in the sale. The refrigerator and stove are included in the sale. This is a great little house for your cowboy to live in on the farm. An emergency water system, (large storage tank) has been built for emergencies if needed.
The Stables and Wash Stalls
There are 11 stalls in the main stables.
Concrete aisles airy stalls. All stalls have drains, water hookup, lights, fans, dirt floors and top gates to close the horse in if need be. Grooming and Shoeing Area, Concrete storage bins. A tack room with 2 closets to store medicines and supplies. Seating area for your guest or just to hangout. Garden in the stables. Parking for your camione under roof. Camione shown in photo not included in the sale.
You can wash 4 horses at a time. We have built a system utilizing the river so you can wash as many horses as you want all day long. There is never a shortage of water. There is also a 2 car parking area, under roof, adjacent to the wash stall. Truck not included in the sale
The Corral and Riding Ring
The Corral is 12 meters by 18 meters. It has a covered tin roof with plenty of height. Lighting for riding at night, 220 electric hookup, sand footing, storage area, a pulley system for teaching young horses to rope, Viewing area for guest 3 meters by 9 meters.
There are 4 stalls connected to the corral under roof, gravel aisle with cement columns, steel beams
1 Birthing stall 3 meters by 5.93 meters
1 yearling stall 3 meters by 3 meters
2 stalls each 3 meters by 4.40 meters
Each stall has a hay rack, water hookups, fans drains and dirt floor. You can train your horse rain or sun, night or day! It rains a lot in Costa Rica certain times of the year so it is great to always have an area to play with your horse.
You can give lessons! The roof provides plenty of shade from the sun. You can hosts dinner shows for all your friends! Seating for 15 people
The riding ring is 18 meters by 32 meters and has 2 gates. The base is fine gravel, Drainage for the rain water. The post and rails are all galvanized metal set in concrete. A drag for dragging the ring is included in the sale.
The Stud Barn
The stud barn has 4 large stalls (15 x 15) and all the stalls are made out of medal railing and are fully secure. The barn is very airy and has a terrific view of the river. There is running water, fans, lighting and a bodega for storage in this barn. It is very large and plenty of room for more stalls and storage. The barn is located on an adjacent lot, connected to the farm, and is included in the sale.
The Bodega and Dog Kennels and Dog Pool
The Concrete bodega is 9 meters by 9.10 meters. There are plenty of shelves for your tools. You can also use the bodega to park vehicles. Our washing machine and dryer are also located inside the bodega along with a refrigerator and these appliances are included in the sale. Plenty of storage for hay and equipment. There is an outside cowboy bathroom attached to the back of the bodega.
There are 5 kennels for your dogs if needed. One of the kennels, we have turned into a house for our 3 parrots. Our parrots are in their cage at night but have the freedom of going in the trees all day long. The cage is totally secure to prevent wildlife from entering. Your parrots will be safe! Parrots can be included in the sale.
Your dog’s get their own pool. The upper part of the farm is all fenced in so your dogs can run loose without leaving the property.
The Pastures and The Road
There are 10 pastures, some of them with chain link and some with barbwire. The river runs behind the farm. All the pastures have a water troth. There are roofs in 6 of them so your horses can get out of the rain if need be. They all have good grass. There is a half hectare of teak.
The gravel road running through the farm runs down to the river and is well maintained.
